ABOUT ME
Rachel Goldenberg
The practice of yoga has enriched me beyond my imagination.
I am driven now to share the beauty, the benefits and the meaning of yoga with others.
My passion for yoga has been transformative. What began as a way to strengthen my body and settle my mind, has become a way of life.
I started yoga in my early 40s, and in the years following I faced single motherhood, emotional stress, medical issues and parenting challenges.
Yoga brought me a sense of peace and meaning, and helped me manage.

Many of you may find yourself, as I did, at a point where you are open to change, and searching for a way to strengthen your body, calm the mind and connect with yourself.
I have immersed myself in the 350 hours of yoga teacher training at the Australian Yoga Academy, where my practice was enriched by the knowledge of philosophy, anatomy, physiology, pranayama (breath work), and meditation. I have completed yin training, Meditation Teacher Training and am trained to teach mat pilates.
The learning continues and I will always remain a student.
I am driven to share what I have gained and hope to help others realise that they too can grow.
I am a single mother of three teenagers, and I share my challenges and the tools I've learned to manage challenges and minimise suffering.
I’ve been inspired by my 96 year old grandmother who still practises daily yoga. In the 1940's my great grandfather practised at the only studio in Melbourne. Yoga pulses through my veins and I’ve seen, and I feel, how it keeps you healthy, fit, flexible and vibrant.
I’m passionate about sharing this ancient practice with others, so they can reap the benefits to their bodies, mind and spirit.
Yoga often begins with a physical practice and can evolve into a way of life. I am eager to share it.
